The monopoly that belongs to the Italian State is the entity in charge of controlling the issues related to the gaming industry. They have published a law to obligate those who operate bingo rooms to forbid the entrance of those people who have not turned 18 years old yet.

It will be requested, in order to access any of the facilities of the bingo rooms, to present in the bingo lobby, an identity document that shows the age majority. In case the person does not show the mentioned document, he could be rejected and the entrance to the room could be denied.

This new prohibition embraces also recreational rooms as well as gaming and betting establishments that give prizes in cash.
