Bingo Caballito set a precedent when it managed to get the Justice to accept a precautionary measure that habilitated to smoke in that gambling room. Almost a month after a prohibition to smoke in all closed places that have public access was put into practice in the city, including the rooms in Buenos Aires.

The decision was reached after the appeal presented to the Court by lawyer Ruben Lombardi where they got doctor Juan Vicente Cataldo to order the government to hold provisionally the inspections based on law 1799.

About the decision, Lombardi explained: “This was the same resolution that, initially, the judge had dictated for Bingo Caballito, before the precautionary measure was accepted. Now we are waiting that in the next few days, following the convexity criteria, the court gives course to the appeal for the rest of the rooms with which the law will not be able to be applied”.

The Government Minister assured that since that measure looks unsuitable to them, the judicial decision will be appealed like it was in the case of the bingo Caballito.
