The Costa Rican Red Cross is going to ask the Constitutional Board to suspend the game Lucky 21, since they find that the activity affects the Tico Bingo because they are very similar. “We are the only institution authorized by law to play bingo in Costa Rica. We are not against Hogares having their own income, but they can’t take advantage of the bingo system which has many years”.
José Miguel Jiménez Meza, manager of Hogares crea, indicated that Lucky 21 is not a bingo. “Our game will go on because it’s authorized by the Social Protection Board of San Jose (JPS)”, Jiménez said.
