A few months ago, the Osage Nation Million Dollar Elm Casino in Tulsa decided to revive bingo in the city. “We turn a modest profit, but we mainly brought it back to make use of our event center when we're not using it. We also considered the social aspect of it”, Osage Nation Chief Jim Gray said.
According to Byron Bighorse, special events manager for the casino, bingo games, which are played from Sunday to Thursday nights, attract between 200 to 400 players a night. "Usually, our best nights are Sunday, but don't let the setting fool you, these little ladies are serious about their bingo", Bighorse added.
